Collaborations
Following a degree in Dramatic Arts at Bretton Hall from 1990-93, Jane has evolved a lasting interest in devised theatre and inter-disciplinary performance.
The role of collaboration and how each one is different from the last forms a significant part of Jane’s professional activities as a choreographer. Processes are often fluid, sometimes very little movement material is required or sometimes choreography is the key ingredient of the performance language. Working closely within a team, roles can blur, being generative in the space with ideas and questions is all part of a shared commitment towards the collaborative process and to the work.

… the impressionistic images take hold, be it the rough-and-tumble of dive-bombing boys, or the dreamy memory of standing naked in an Aegean rock pool. We are in the world of the civic amenity, but sometimes Lifeguard recalls the shimmering beauty of David Hockney's Californian poolside paintings.
